I do like that Pelts Blue conifer, must see if I can get one.

Yes, I too think so. The fragrance of DA roses are best savoured indoors.

And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)

  • Lovely stuff, thank you :)

Wow, you've still got a lot of colour in your garden @Marlorena. My aster Monch's are being very slow and I've only got a few roses left in bloom. It has been so dry here for weeks now.

    ..thanks @Lizzie27
..yes dry here too mostly... I had a light shower last night which perked up the Rudbeckia as it was wilting under that Aster..   I'll have to move it..
I have lots of black spot..

  • So many lovely photos as always. Your roses seem to have put on a wonderful second flush.. I can’t say the same for mine, though that partly because I have slacked off a little with the intensive watering / feeding regime that you have reminded many times that is expected of DA roses..

I do like the look of Donatella - is it a shrub Rose? It has the look of a DA Rose but I don’t recall seeing a DA Rose bearing that beautiful shade of peach.
