The first one is more likely to uncover the object in question, although, as is well proven, the best way to find something is to look for (as defined above) something else.
Even more successful IME, is to huff off and buy another and the original will turn up within hours wearing a self satisfied smirk
Well I've mended the appliance (a filthy job) and saved myself a few hundred quid. It works and I was only left with two screws when I closed up! I f they were essential, I'm sure something will rattle or fall off. Note to self: photograph screws before and after removing. I reckon the money I've saved needs to be spent on the garden.

However, when looking for something and coming across something else that was thought lost and saying - oh, so that's where that is - you will then go through the whole process again when you look for the something else. Which you thought you now knew where it was but it turns out you didn't.
My husband gets really irritated when he loses something. When he's searched the sensible places, he refuses to look in the unlikely or downright stupid places. There's no point suggesting that because it's not in a likely place it must be somewhere stupid. Have you tried....? No I wouldn't have put it there. Then what's this?
I’m very confused ... I’ve just heard on the news that a Demi Lavato is a them ... I always thought it was one of those complicated coffees ☕️ ... I always order a Macchiato ... I know what one of those is.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

I read it's statement and couldn't understand a word of it. Rambling on about being fluid! Is that what used to be called bisexual and I just called greedy?
I'm so glad I don't drink coffee. It's a culture that has passed me by - along with people who want to tell me their sexuality or their religion. I'm of the generation when that kind of information was nobody's business. I don't give a rat's rectum about any of that superfluous information. What matters to me is their talent and whether what they have to say makes any sense whether I agree with it or not. It reminds me of those programmes where people have problems that they have kept to themselves for whatever reason and then decide to share it in national television.
I hate fly tipping as much as the next person but someone dumped about 20 3.8L Root Nurse fabric pots up the woods all basically brand new with the labels still on them. The remains of the plants inside were still tightly wrapped in tea bags so I imagine they died quite quickly and the person gave up on their gardening dreams. Or more likely in this town someone was trying to grow weed in them and had to get rid of the evidence in a hurry. Still one stoners loss is my gain as these will be perfect for my living wall experiment. All my ferns are dying to be potted out.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
2007 and on my way up the motorway to RHS Tatton. Stopped for coffee at a Costa services. Couldn't fathom the coffee list at all. Black, white, cappuccino fine but flat white, extra shot? What's that all about? Ever since I stick to Café Nero or Pain Quotidien when in England.

What's the difference between a filter coffee and a cafetiere coffee? Ive been to places that offered both.
