    I do it in case it pssses off the sensitive. It doesn't bother me.

    The word " Typically " inserted into every break between nouns and verbs.

    "Greetings Earthlings" usually works for me.👾
    "Klaatu barada nikto" 🤖 works reasonably well too.

    In Ireland "lads" doesn't denote gender, like "guys" in @NewBoy2's post.  Our builder always greeted hubby and me with "How're you doing, lads!"  Took a bit of getting used to...
    Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

    Folk down here great you buys saying " how're you doing m'lovely?"  No gender issues there.
