    Morning,

Rain again today, off and on all day, I hope the weeds don't grow too fast along with the flowers.
Most of my day will be spent in front of the computer, so much organising to do.

The Tearoom is looking like a tearoom though, we're not allowed to use it but people will walk through to use the loo. New sails are on the way to cover the terrace, bigger than last year with more of an overlap to protect from light showers.

Experimenting with fishcake recipes too today, all very busy and exciting, might get some coffee and walnut cakes made and put in the freezer too.

Whatever you are all doing today, I hope it goes well.

    Hugs to you @D0rdogne_Damsel.
I wish you every success for the forthcoming season.
    You both deserve it.

Good morning - early start for some.

@D0rdogne_Damsel  beautiful day here but had strong, very strong winds yesterday.  We are getting some of yours on Sunday whereas you seem to be fine up there.  You seem to have had lots of response to your opening - best of British for a good season.

    Today's expression for the 6th May:  S'il pleut à la petite Saint-Jean, toute l'année s'en ressent jusqu'à la grande St-Jean (24 June)

    Have a good day all.

Hi Hosta, DD and Tui. Lovely to see your posts. DD, I don’t know where you get all your energy.  😳. The river here is still spreading outwards. 👏

Can you post a pic of the river. I've never really seen it looking full.

It’s getting there Hosta. It’s more noticeable on our side of the river than the neighbours’ side, but to us it’s wonderful.

On this side there is a high  bank (about 20 metres I guess) so the water moves to the base of that bank.   Our contour bank in the foreground is also holding some water. 👏

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
it’s fine here but the app says drizzle is imminent... it will then rain for most of the month ... so it looks as if the French St. Joans are exerting dominance over our weather ... Give us our weather back!!!  ... Wonder if Boris will send in the gun boats? ... oh, he already has ... wonder if he’d have done that if it wasn’t the elections today? 🙄 😢

Great to see your river @Pat E 🌊. Hooray for the rain ☔️

Another frost here ❄️  Boo for the frost 👎🏻👎🏻

Glad its all coming together @D0rdogne_Damsel ..... you’ll be grand 👍🏻👍🏻

Volunteering today.  I know I’m going to be in the glasshouses this week, which is great.  I’m getting to know them bit by bit.

Now just to decide whether to vote on the way there, or on the way home 🤔✏️✖️

Morning Dove and Chicky. Hubby is having a baking day. Nice smells coming from the kitchen.
