Thinking through garden plans or roses never help me sleep.
haa haa... same here.. sometimes I even stay awake untill there is light outside and then go out to see if whatever is going in my head is feasible?
Oh, I sometimes get up in the small hours with a torch in my dressing gown to see if a rose would fit where I suddenly think it might.
I think I do spend more time in the garden in my head, this way, than I do in my actual garden. Some layer of my mind is constantly rearranging, planning, re-designing it.
Thanks for the welcome Beautiful photos from everyone, such healthy looking plants. A lot of mine are a black spotty mess Some of those oranges are really tempting me. Thought I’d share a couple of my climbers, little white pet( I believe) and Paul’s scarlet..... Oh dear, don’t know how to crop, 😐 sorry
Took this photo of my new bed ( a year old now) The white climber is doing well, even after the rain, and I noticed today it has a delicate scent with a hint of vanilla, a first in my garden.
@micearguers@Omori nice to see other albertine. It does ball with rain and shed everywhere but its so beautiful for a few weeks! Heres mine currently; Lavender ice, I am delighted with it Sweet syrie on the left, bursting with buds and smells incredible. Brother Cadfael on the right and lavender ice delicatley tucked in the front (the bases are a good distance apart they just look close ) Fragrant delight has been lovely so far too. Ive propped up as it seems to be trying to climb! First bud colour on 'colonel mustard' Clematis pink fantasy, just brought this year as a 9cm pot and covered in flowers. Natalija, quite unphased by the rain. Ive supported this stem with a loop to show its blooms more as the other clusters are not yet out. Im delighted with it too.

Did another little video of the wildlife pond.
Potted Desdemona is doing great in her second year. Apparently being hit by a car agrees with her 😉
