    Thank you @Tack. That's very helpful! I wish I'd bought more of my favourite pots by Emsa, as I can't find them anywhere now and they were the perfect size. Ah well.

    And then my heart with pleasure fills,
    And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)

    I’m just watching on YouTube a Paul Zimmerman video as he talks to Michael Marriott of David Austin’s. They are covering Michael’s early gardening career and how he came to work at DA. It’s a two part video each an hour long. I thought you lovely rosy people would enjoy.
