Still drizzling @didyw, but not a sound from the water butts and the temperature has dropped like a stone from 15+C earlier to 7,6C now ... I've brought the dahlia indoors again and put the central heating on Brrrr!   🥶

Had just enough to wet the bottom of a bucket yesterday, but that's evaporated now!  Nothing useful for 2 months, so far..

At the Allotment,  I learned they got a lot more rain Wednesday night than we did here eventhoughit'slessthan3 miles away.  It's turned cold a grey again now and we got a few drops,  the patio was nearly wet, but it's dry again now.

Well, surprise surprise.  It's raining and more drops than I can count but not enough to do any good, not even lay the dust.  It has turned cold so thermal ski socks, a roll neck top and the lined and quilted fleece jacket needed for hosepipe wrangling.   Why do they unravel so twisty and determined to twist?

Well we've just had a shower. Lasted about 20 mins and was as much hail as rain. That's the amelanchier blossom gone for another year....

Just s little shower 2 days ago, nothing to yesterday, minute shower today. Water out of the shower, feeling that song coming on"THERE'S A HOLE IN MY BUCKET" there isn't really, and hauling it round the garden. Old mans Rotator cuff injury playing up, giving him neck pain,so he cannot lift

It is raining. It has been raining for about 45 minutes. It is due to rain for the next 3 hours or so. I hope it's enough (and that everything is not permanently horizontal / shredded by the wind).

At last - for the first time 8 weeks - proper rain to wash off the thick layer of dust on everything.
The winds aren't doing the fresh new leaves of my acers any favours tho..
