Still drizzling @didyw, but not a sound from the water butts and the temperature has dropped like a stone from 15+C earlier to 7,6C now ... I've brought the dahlia indoors again and put the central heating on Brrrr! 🥶

At the Allotment, I learned they got a lot more rain Wednesday night than we did here eventhoughit'slessthan3 miles away. It's turned cold a grey again now and we got a few drops, the patio was nearly wet, but it's dry again now.
Well, surprise surprise. It's raining and more drops than I can count but not enough to do any good, not even lay the dust. It has turned cold so thermal ski socks, a roll neck top and the lined and quilted fleece jacket needed for hosepipe wrangling. Why do they unravel so twisty and determined to twist?

It is raining. It has been raining for about 45 minutes. It is due to rain for the next 3 hours or so. I hope it's enough (and that everything is not permanently horizontal / shredded by the wind).
