Here in the channel islands Jersey and Guernsey are as of 26 April in an official drought.

No rain for the last 15 days.

Not this bit of London! Some drops, a few times, but not enough for the drops to even join up on the ground.

We had rain Monday night to Tuesday morning and also last night, overnight. That is my favourite type of rain - overnight rain.

Although it was not heavy, it has still made a difference to the garden. Everything looks much happier.

It's raining :). I don't suppose it'll last for more than about 10 minutes, but better than nothing.

I was at Capel manor today,  around 11am we had hail stones, didn't last thankfully.

I had one of those 'was that a raindrop I just felt?' moments today. That's about the strength of it.

Finally got a couple of thunderstorms yesterday. Things looking happy so perhaps no need to water the pots for a few days. The radishes and lettuce look happy today, I’m sure they took a growth spurt overnight.

I tried the putting towls out to dry, started to rain, brought them in it stopped. This happened all morning. Didn't actually rain till after 2pm, two proper downpours,  but it's so dry you wouldn't know.
