Pinch and a punch for the first of the month - and no returns.

SGL, I will have my pencil and Bingo card ready! Those pictures are just classic aren't they. @Busy-Lizzie these are not spoilers as they don't give anything away. Hope you manage to see the series soon. I think I might start right back at the beginning and binge watch after tomorrow.

I've had a peek outside and everything is looking a bit perkier after last night's rain. Hoping to get out into the garden again today. I need to drill some holes into two huge planters my Bestie got for me ready for my Mignon dahlias and Aramis daisies. The planters will have a more permanent planting in the Autumn.

    Morning all.

Thank you @Ladybird4, I realise that! Once the last LOD is recorded I'll watch the lot. It's just so disappointing to record a series and then find that the last episode didn't record, no iPlayer in France.

Back aches, very stiff this morning. I've been making my new round, 3m across, rose bed. It's so dry, ground is hard as a rock and very compacted and there is couch grass in the lawn. I've had to water it quite a bit to make it diggable.ย
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Good morning Ruby, you snuckered in there. Bank Holiday weekend. I feel like every Monday this last 15 months has been a Bank Holiday.

Good morning @Busy-Lizzie and SGL. Goodness me Busy-Lizzie, that circular rose bed is HUGE! steady as she goes when you are working that. I bet it will look stunning when you have finished it.

Good morning Debs, was that where you took yesterday's beautiful picture? Walks like that are such a tonic.
