Hello there everybody. Whatever you are doing today - before LOD - I hope you have a wonderful day. Its a bit nippy (chilly Ante) here so far but I'm off to see the rellies later.

Morning Debs, you snuckered in there. I hope that your baby plants are safe. There was no sign of any frost here but it is certainly cold - 3°C - I'll be checking in the greenhouse shortly to see everything is ok in there.

Morning LB they are snapdragons. It’s totally my own fault if they don’t survive I just sat down with a book after lunch and forgot about them!
Have fun with the rellies today. My big son is popping in later with some guppies for my water feature. Apparently they don’t mind cold water and he has them breeding like rabbits in his tank so will give it a try.

    Morning all,

A very light frost here as well @debs64 but that soon went. Bit overcast now but I think we'll have some bright spells today.

@Songbird-1 just seen your hoheria tree on another thread. It’s gorgeous! Definitely one to look out for.
We have sunshine and clear blue skies at the moment I should be popping to the allotment if I can muster the energy.

Forgot to say that today is International Dawn Chorus Day so I hope that you were all up early listening to the birds welcoming the day. SYL.

    Morning everyone,
We've had rain during the night, YAY! Must have been heavy the garden looks soaked. The sun is peeking through the clouds, but feels a bit chilly this morning.
Hope your plants are ok @debs64
Have a lovely time with your family LB.
Hope everyone got a good night's sleep.
    Have a good day everyone

    Morning all.

The sun is shining but no gardening for me today. Off to see Son 2 and his family, they have four children and his lovely wife is expecting another in June. I'm taking Marmite and Oxo cubes, his SM had run out. It's the last day of lockdown over 10kms in France so I'll sign a paper to say I'm babysitting, Son is a dentist so could be on call.

More freedom from tomorrow so Son 1 and family will be able to visit over the long Ascension Day weekend, bank holiday in France. They haven't seen my new house yet.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • LB enjoy your rellies visit.  I’m seeing my rellies today.  Debs, deep breaths, try and read to distract you and some ovaltine or Horlicks to help you unwind.  Hope you have some better nights.  Lily it feels a little chilly here but the sun is shining now.  Rubee how lovely to have a blackbird singing close by.  Biglad bright sunshine here cutting through the cold.   Busy Lizzie enjoy your visit to son two and family.
