Morning Chive, SGL, Ruby and PR. There was a slight frost here this morning but the sun is shining now. The first of today's two bins has just been emptied so I can get that put back before I leave. I'm glad your Mum will have another visitor for company today Chive. I heard on TV about the hailstones PR but luckily there were none here. They can do serious damage to plants. I had forgotten it was a Bank Holiday this weekend - what was I saying yesterday about days and weeks merging? I think I can add months now to that list!

Morning Hazel - you snuckered in there - and Debs. I know - these weeks are streaking by Hazel. Debs, it was still chilly here this morning so Graham might not be too upset. Maybe you can pop him outsde later as it should be warm by the time you get back from work.

Morning everyone, sorry Chive you weren't there when I posted earlier. Didn't see Tony Blair last night, but saw him on something at the weekend @Songbird-1 Not sure if he's trying to go back to his youth or he just hasn't managed to get a hair appointment yet 😂 Sorry you had a bad nights sleep Hazel, have a lazy day. Yes thank you @Rubee I did sleep well. Everyone seems to take it turns. Hope we all get our sleep pattern back soon.
Me too @Songbird-1 definitely ages him. Its sunny here at the moment, so I'm going to put some cloth things out on the whirly thing and then do a bit of weeding. Supposed to rain tomorrow and all over the weekend....well it is a bank holiday Good luck mattress hunting Hazel. Not easy when so many shops have gone now.
Hazel, I am so happy to say that I missed Tony Blair. I wonder what Cherie thinks. Maybe he is doing it for a dare or to do a Charity shave off later. I've just been to the post box to send off a birthday card and the sun slowly disappeared as I got nearer home. Best hunt out my umbrella just in case. See you all later.

Looked a bit like a 'Mullet' @Ladybird4 and very scraggly and untidy 😱😂 I agree with you Hazel, I'd get the scissors out while he was asleep 💇🏻♂️💇🏻♂️😂😂 Think I've seen photos of Tony Blair in his uni days with hair rather long. Have a lovely tea and chat afternoon. Hope it stays dry for you. That's a shame Hazel, do hope you get to find one soon. I've got wet things on the line, should dry quite quickly, the sun is out but there's a bit of a breeze. I've pulled up more of next doors ivy 🤬 flippin stuff gets everywhere. Have a lovely afternoon
I have been gardening this morning ,it was quite warm . Came in for lunch the temperature dropped ,we have rain and hailstones now.Lily I know how you feel . My neighbours had a huge ivy plant that kept growing through our hedge .Nearly every time I went into the garden I was pulling bits up, very annoying . Oh we have thunder and lightening now .
LB scary about hotmail. It’s good that you could create the gmail account, a relief for your brother, a handy sister as well. Enjoy your time with bestie. Chive it’s good that you and mum can have a chat and I hope you had some rest. Pauline I hope you managed to sleep and you’re looked after. PR visiting Rubee it was hailing too, quite a surprise. My neighbours cats are enjoying sitting in my garden. Hazel best to wait for better weather. Lily hoping you and oh are okay now after vaccinations.
Afternoon all - what a cold day it's been. Still no rain at all - just drying wind. Really, really hope we get some soon. I think we got up to nearly 4 months without rain last year - don't need that again.
Still no emails via broadband but discovered we can get them via 4G on phones etc so at least I have some contact. Just as well - the last 24hrs have had emails requiring urgent replies about a refund of £100, an order with something missing, a decision re new windows for the rear face of the house and also problems registering for my pension portal. My life is lived online these days and I go into melt down when it's disrupted!
Have spoken to our ISP who say that, although we can use our landline to make and receive calls now, there is an ongoing fault with the line which may be causing the problem. This afternoon I have neither broadband nor phone and there are men in yellow jackets with spades up the road. Fingers crossed.
Fortunately I didn't see Tony Blair the other evening - don't need any more nightmares at the moment😉
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
