Hello Ante. Good to see you. Things are certainly starting to take shape aren't they? It will look marvellous when it is finished and you can enjoy it all.

Thank you @Ladybird4. He is on strong painkillers from the Doc but he tries to take the minimum possible.

It will be great when it's done @Ante30. It looks like my garage conversion at the moment to study/sewing room, tool room and utility room with shower.

  • Hazel, LB and Lily’s oh, I hope all goes well for your second vaccination.  I have someone coming this afternoon to give me a quote for the hedge etc.  Good picture LB, colourful.  Nannybeach on a night I’m wrapped up for an expedition.  Chive I’ve just dragged my bin in and looking at my forlorn garden quite overgrown at the moment, shrubs needing cutting back.  I’ve caught up with rellies this morning.   Have a good day everyone.

Afties all. Hazel, my jab isn't until 17:10 this afternoon so I still have a while to wait. I glad you are all over and done with now and I think the idea of taking it easy for the rest of the weekend is a good one.
RosieBB. I hope that the quote you get is reasonable. Please make sure that there are no birds nesting though. Any decent hedge cutter will be aware of this and should mention it to you.

Sorry to hear your OH operation was postponed @Busy-Lizzie Hope everything goes well on the 2nd July and you can see each other soon.
Yes it a worry, he was being seen every 8 weeks. But he seems to be doing ok. And the check up before Christmas went well.
Good to see you @Ante30 looks like you've been very busy. It will look lovely when its finished.
OH had his 2nd vaccine this afternoon, all ok so far, so keeping everything crossed 🤞🤞 I'm making sure he rests for the next couple of days.
Glad you're ok @Songbird-1 hope you don't have any reaction to it. Have a restful day.
@Ladybird4 hope all goes well for you later this afternoon.
@bluebellsinthewild hope the quite isn't too expensive 🤞🤞

Good afternoon everyone .I do hope that all those waiting for checkups have good results when they have their next one .And those with postponed ops ,I hope all goes well when they go into hospital .I have been shifting pots around in the garden .Very tired now . I am so delighted ,my silver birch has catkins on for the first time . Have a restful evening everyone .
ps all those who have had jabs today I hope that you don’t suffer any after effects . I had my second jab two weeks ago . The only thing that happened to me ,I slept for several hours after the jab .

Home now. All done and dusted. I went a little earlier in case of busy roads biut I needn't have worried. Got straight in to the chemists, had my jab and after 5 minutes I was told I could go. It was quite quiet in the chemists and some people were there for their first jabs. I've come to the conclusion I must have skin like a rhino as - like the first one - I never felt a thing.
All the pubs on the route home were heaving with people. I guess the nice weather helped but I'm hoping that the novelty will wear off and some semblance of normality will return. I am going to have an easy night now. All being well I'll be going to see the rellies tomorrow.

Evening everyone, what a lovely day to be outside,
BusyLizzie I hope your OH’s hip replacement can go ahead in July, all the best to you both,
Ante The work is coming on well, not easy to live with all the disruption but it will be worthwhile,
SGL I hope OH doesn’t have any ill effects from the jab today, take care both of you,
RosieBB I quite like things a bit unruly in the garden, hope the quote is a sensible one,
Hazel having the jab standing up was unusual it sounded a bit brutal you’re braver than me, please take it easy for the rest of the weekend now,
Rubee What a productive day you’ve had, glad you are pleased with all your hard work, it’s time to sit back & relax,
LB I’m glad all has gone well with your vaccine this afternoon, take care for the next few days,
Have a lovely evening everyone, signing off for today, see you tomorrow Goodnight 🤗
