The frogspawn should be ok unless the pond is so cold it freezes @WonkyWomble. Placing insect mesh or fleece or something similar over it at night if it gets frosty ought to help.

Morning all. Amazing for you to be getting snow now.I thought spring was supposed to be past that.  I’ve spent the last three mornings sitting on the front veranda in the sun. Had to get a hat for a change.  It is cooler this afternoon though. Probably a change coming through.

    Hello everyone.
Dry bright but cold wind here,  it would have been my dear brother's  birthday today he would have been 70. I remember having snow on his birthday when we were young, so it's not unheard of.
    Stay warm everyone.

    Morning all.
Sunny but will be cold tomorrow.

Grass needs mowing. Having been meaning to make a new bed in front of the dining room, sacks of compost have been lying there for a while.

May start painting the utility room ceiling. I've finished painting the study, 2 coats, walls and ceiling. It's not a big room. So much easier when there isn't any furniture and the floor hasn't yet been tiled. The washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge and freezer will probably be in the way.

OH has snow in Norfolk, but he's not far from @Dovefromabove.

It's what Ma used to call A Daffy Snow ... when the daffodils are in flower.  Now we have sunshine but a howling gale.  I always think that here in Norfolk the planting of magnolias is an example of the triumph of hope over experience ... every year, just as soon as they're in full bloom, we get a howling gale and heavy rain or even snow ... they end up looking like a sodden and besozzled bridesmaid the morning after the wedding.  ;)

Same happens in May with heavy rain just as the viburnum snowball is in full swing.  Btw it's trying to snow here now but it's not settling.
