  • I am just about to go out and sort all the seedlings (again), night and morning, it's taking about half an hour each time now. It about protection from mice/vole as much as anything. I have looked at the long term forecast and there are frosts still due next week. I am just wondering if the Cosmos and Gaillarde would really succumb if they were in sheltered groups in the ground, some of them are bursting out of the pots again now.

    Good morning gardeners everywhere.

Beautiful day yesterday here too.  Hot and sunny with a light breeze.  And yes, @D0rdogne_Damsel not a drop of rain in sight.   I think I made a mistake and watered my tomatoes yesterday evening - bit of a cold night (6°C) for their feet.  Hope I haven't done a mischief!

@raisingirl   Very very interesting message you wrote about heat pumps - I am on an oil powered boiler and prices for diesel, apart from last year, have been high.  I will be looking into the heat pump system as Macron would like us all on this.  Had the house insulated (roof) last year on the govt system of 1€.  Would like to see if I can get a hybrid system installed.

@Pat E  Your head is healing nicely, I hope your neck is better too.
@Obelixx - maybe you have more flying insects than down here!!  No, just joking!

    Happy Saturday.

    Hiya @D0rdogne_Damsel and @Hostafan1 👋

We’re realizing how much difference to the garden there is now the ash tree has been pollarded.... its so much lighter and brighter which is great for the seedlings in the studio.

Morning everyone,  lovely listening to the blackbirds this morning.
Is nothing sacred? I have just started a new box of porridge it's a very well known Scottish brand.  They have changed the packaging,  the kilted athlete in the picture has been made younger, & blue is a different shade. It's akin to changing superman's cape😂.
    AB Still learning
