Good, I'm sure your grandad appreciated the effort and was delighted to have company for lunch.

Who's praying for rain?  After a good shift in the garden today (lovely sunshine) I saw that the soil is OK in shadier areas but the pots...  It seems far to early to get the hose out but there is no rain in the forecast and the recent hail just wasn't enough.

I had to water my wild-type primroses in the big central bed today .., they were totally flopped 🙁

Sounds as if your grandfather had a lovely birthday @LivMarie98 😊

Well, we’ve had our big breakfast/supper ... @punkdoc didn’t arrive so we ate his share. We sent your household’s share by carrier pigeon @Obelixx

I did watering today too. The washing dried, but there was a horrid chilly wind.

I found OH's tool shed shelving units in the big open barn, future car port, and washed them and put them into the tool room part of the garage in front of the new wall that I've just painted.

Our local shop has marmite @Busy-Lizzie.  Would you like some?

My new shelving for the PT arrived yesterday but Thursdays are busy with other jobs and weekly shop.   Too flipping cold in that wind to play outside to day tho so I've been pottering indoors and then went on a very circuitous drive to deliver the garden club's annual magazine/report to a few members within the 10km limit, coming back via the local SM.

Now to make pizzas.   Only do it once a year but we do it properly.

Less sore, thanks @Dovefromabove, but I can still feel it.

Golly, just heard that Helen MCrorrie had died at 52
  • I had to give my lavender bushes a good water too and they were looking quite sorry for themselves.
