What new thing are you most looking forward to in the garden?

    This year I'm growing flowers from seed, looking forward to lots of colour in the garden.  I have dwarf asters, zinnias, marigolds and dalhia tubers. I just need to figure out the best time to plant the sunflower seeds

    I’m looking forward to having my neiece/s round to explore, play and see all my seeds become plants. I have a new poly-house so am hoping for it to be a productive venture.
    My garden and I live in South Wales.

    Trying out different coloured tomatoes this year and some mini peppers and cucumbers.
    A good hoeing is worth two waterings.

    New seeds for me to try this year include chicory, salsify, hyssop, amaranthus, tansy, liatris, viper's bugloss, lemon grass, perennial sunflower lemon queen and basil blue spice.

    I'm trying to be more organised with my veg growing - it's been pretty successful but extremely haphazard in previous years. This time I've actually drawn myself a diagram plan and a monthly list of tasks. It's very exciting!

    Looking forward to seeing and smelling the new roses and seeing how the garden will end up at the height of summer. Looking forward to sitting down among the plants with a gentle sunlight touching my face, neither cold nor hot, and feeling that I’m safe, that I’m part of a bigger thing and that I belong.

    I'm quite excited about abutlion Nabob. I have wanted one for years but thought it was quite tender, so didn't go for it (I have no greenhouse). I tentatively got a little one at the end of last year and it has sailed through cold snap (to -oC with no fleece) and has buds again now. I might have it as the feature plant in a large pot. It has the best ever shiny red flowers.
