    Morning all,

I had about another 4hrs sleep having also dropped off just before GW started! Probably got my hours in but not in a conventional way :o

Bright and breezy here this morning (the weather not me :D) so no excuses. Up 'n' at 'em!!

Good Morning Biglad, a hearty breakfast and you’ll be ready for action 👍
Just wondered if anyone had seen or heard from Pansyface recently, haven’t noticed any posts from her on the forum for a little while?

Will a couple of leftover boiled potatoes and a strong coffee do, @Chivetalking? :o

Car loaded and off to the tip. Actually, recycling centre is more appropriate as it should all fit into that category :)

@Biglad I reckon that combination would get you moving, but I’ll stick with a bowl of porridge thanks 😁

    Morning everyone
It's a sunny morning so far but so very windy. Popped out to the bin just now and far too cold to do anything in the garden. Although after yesterday's downpours it's far too wet too.
    Lovely photo LB, love Fritillarys.
Unmentionables to do this morning and then Zoom chats with sons and families.
@Biglad you wouldn't drive by and take a few bit to the tip for me would you. I'll give you cake as a thank you 😉🍰🍰🍰
    Have a good day everyone

  • LB I hope you enjoyed the match last night and catch up with GW, I love all the videos.  Hazel I hope you managed to plant your sunflower seeds.  It will be a jolly addition to the garden.  Chive yes I’ve been playing with all the attachments on the vac.  I’ve done the main areas, all the corners and the upholstery shhhh!  I’ve moved a two drawer filing cabinet and my knees are rather bruised from it.  Lily I didn’t get a sticker either.  Maybe it’s a new thing.  Topbird my next door neighbours cat is very friendly but I can’t feed her as she’s diabetic, but a lovely cat.  Enjoy those cuddles.

    Morning

Mr PR is still suffering. I was really worried yesterday that I would be the same after my jab. I am fine so far. My arm feels achey but it isn't bad. I know a few who had their jabs yesterday morning like me and a couple are suffering. They started last night so hopefully I am out of the danger time now.

Chive, leek isn't sorted. Plumber came round last night and he had a look and cant see where the leak is coming from. He is going to come back to have a good investigation. The paper came off the wall and now that it is off the leek isn't too bad. I think the paper was holding some of the water and it was spreading. He has told me to have a look after I have a shower and see what happens as he had teenagers and he has lost count the number if times water has come through the ceiling and it turns out they dont have the shower curtain right or the shower head is hurling water over the side of the bath. I need to text him about after I have had a shower and if it still leaking he will come round Monday.  It is to do with the shower as bath is fine and the sink is ok.

SGL thank you for the clock reminder.

LB the snake head picture is lovely. I have some of these in my garden. I bought a pot of them off the nearly dead shelf a few years ago. Unfortunately I didn't manage to save them and was rather disappointed until the following spring when they started sprouting and I realised they come back every year, with a few more flowers each year.

    Have a good day

Hello all. I had a walk to the post box earlier and despite the fact that the sun was shining it was freezing cold in the wind so I doubt much will go on in the garden today. I might work in the GH though.
RosieBB, I did enjoy the game - it was probably the best of the series. I haven't caught up on GW yet. Time for that later.
Debs enjoy your day tomorrow with your fiancé.
Chive, I really like fritillaries too and they like boggy gardens so mine flourish. Yes PR, they will keep growing and flowering every year and the clumps get bigger. They are so pretty. I have some of the white ones too. Sorry to hear that your OH is still feeling a bit rough. Infinitely better than getting the illness though. Once we have all weathered our second jabs I'm sure we will all feel much happier about things. I hope that you get to the source of your leak soon.

Morning all. Been outside ready to start planting but the wind is so strong and very cold so I've got everything ready but come back inside for another cuppa and give it an hour to warm up a tad. Will probably be ok once I start digging....

PR - I had a tender arm for 36 hrs after my jab (Pfizer) but, fortunately, that was the only side effect. Had a fairly sizeable bruise to prove I didn't imagine it.

Don't like losing an hour's sleep tonight, but I will enjoy the lighter evenings. May even be able to enjoy the first al fresco G&T of the year on Tues evening😎

Rosie - you're a little devil testing Col TT aren't you. Next door's cat is lovely but I don't feed him. That would be wrong unless the owner knew about it or wanted me to. Too many over weight cats around without me adding to the problem. Oliver is tiny and very sleek - a proper Italian snake hips!

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
