    Evening all,

Did my stints in youngest's and sister's gardens and dropped off the logs I sawed last weekend in between. Back home for 8pm with 3 planters for the mother-in-law to paint, line and deliver. Not sure when I'll do that. Might start tomorrow if the weather is decent.

    Pooped now.

Hello everyone, thought I’d introduce myself, rather than just reading along and staying silent!

we bought our house in November, and it has 2 large gardens. The house is built into the side of a valley and as such the back garden is a slope up and away from the house, however it means we get two south facing gardens essentially. Front and back!

that said, they weren’t in great shape, back was far worse but we are on skip number 3 and still haven’t gotten rid of all the junk.

we’ve also had a tree surgeon come in January as the previous owners had hacked two trees to bits and they couldn’t be saved, plus taking out loads of conifers.

Anyway, we’ve been spending a lot of time landscaping and clearing and it’s starting to make some headway

hope u all get a good nights sleep 😴 x

Been very windy and overcast today, too cold to be outside. Brrrrrrr.
@PurpleRose hope your OH is feeling a bit better now after his vaccine and the reaction isn't too bad. I had a reaction after mine a few weeks ago and I must admit I'm really not looking forward to my next one.
    @Biglad 😉
@Yviestevie sorry your plants weren't what you were hoping for. Think you deserve lots of chocolate and lots of plants too 😉
Family are all well thank you @Chivetalking and we had a lovely catch up.
I wondered how @pansyface was too. Hope you're well if your looking in.
Hope everyone in the quiet corner are ok and hope to see you all again soon.

Hi @paulacastlepersonal nice to meet you. Your house and surroundings sound lovely.  A busy time ahead, but I'm sure it will soon start to take shape and look beautiful in the end.

Night night everyone, sleep well and sweet dreams

Its very dark here I hope everyone slept well last night. I know I'm beginning to sound like a scratched record but yet again it is pouring down this morning.
Lovely to meet you @paulacastlepersonal and goodness me but you have a job on your hands by the sound of it but having two south facing gardens is such a bonus. You'll be able to have two sitooteries! Looking foward to hearing about all your developments. Now I need a cuppa.

Hmmmm, I wonder why the Monty Python song 'I'm a lumberjack' jumped into my mind?

    Good morning all.

    Warm welcome to Paulacastlepersonal!!!

SGL, I hope that you managed to sleep proper. I see that you was awake late.

Rain and wind here. Last few days was nice and warm, so I was on relation school - cottage. I'm tired but satisfied because a lot of work is done. Only half of my onions are planted, but many other things are sorted.
Pets and birds are feed and now is time for tea.

    Have a nice Sunday!

Good morning all, wet and windy here but planning a lazy day so don’t mind at all, I want to spend time with fiancé before he goes away but if it’s sunny the garden calls to me. He isn’t a gardener so I don’t really see him if I am outside.
Another lovely photo Ante. LB now that song is in my head too.

    Morning debs and Rubee.

Debs, have a nice time with fiancé. You will have enough time for garden when he goes away on work.

Rubee, knitting in warm house sounds nice. Have a restful day.
