Good morning all. Dry here but I am in work all day so can’t make the best of it. Roll on the weekend! Does everyone else feel that there is so much to do? My own fault I suppose, I bought 4 new pots for front yesterday so now I will have to fill them. Biggish ones too. What am I like? Got my new DA climbing roses in their spots ready to go just waiting on clematis now.
On my way to work I pass an area of rough ground and on the wall there is a gorgeous cream and green ivy I am thinking I could take a few cuttings what do people think? I don’t know who it belongs to or I would ask?
Hope you all have a lovely day planned.

A very good morning one and all.
Its Thursday Cute animals Cute baby pigs Cute funny animals
Debs, I personally wouldn't take any cuttings unless I had permission. When you say that the ivy is growing up a wall, presumably the wall is attached to a building? Any chance that you could see someone who the wall/building belongs to?

    Morning

SGL Cheese Cake and Gin sounds delicious. That is right up my street!

It is dull here today Debs. Dry so far but I have been listening to the local radio station whilst doing my pack up and he was saying rain later. I hope not.

@Ladybird4 it’s a derelict building with pigeons flying in and out, whole area around it is overgrown with brambles and buddleia and nettles, also a wall half collapsed with this really pretty ivy growing all over it very thickly. All the windows are broken and I think the inside has been gutted by fire judging by scorch marks on remaining walls. It’s been in that state for as long as I have known and a friend at work says it’s been empty for over 20 years.  I wouldn’t dream of taking cuttings normally but the leaves are gorgeous lots of cream and exactly what I have been looking for. I must admit to curiosity as to why it has got to that state, property in the area is fairly expensive and it’s a big plot, maybe because it’s at a junction of the main roads?
    Maybe something more sinister?

Morning PR and Ruby. It is very misty here and the first of my bins has just been emptied - they do seem to get here nice and early these days. I'm hoping things will improve outside later as I'm hoping to get a walk in.

Debs, I know that this probably sounds a bit OTT but I would be tempted to cover my back and ask either the local council or the police if it would be OK to take some cuttings. I'm sure that they wouldn't mind and you would avoid any accusations of trespass etc.

Good morning Chive. I hope that you managed to get all your leaves collected up. Will that be this afternoon once work is finished?
