    The programme is excellent and has more subject variety than Gardeners world but I agree Callum is too cocky and needs to settle down as he is he spoils the show.

    I agree on all counts!  If I'm watching 'live' I always hit the mute button when he's on.

    Splendid news. I enjoy Beechgrove more than GW- if that isn't a sacrilegious thing to say on here.

    Just watched it on the TV through iPlayer, a breath of fresh air, to me it was more interesting than last year's offering!

    It's interesting to see it now in a slot right next GW on a Friday.

    I can't say that growing perfect plants for competitive showing is not something I find remotely interesting. "Best in show" is entirely lost on me.
