Just testing comms up on the landing; in my efforts to remove layers of thick dust I've managed to decapitate a Lladro figure that belonged to my late Mum - Doh! Spent the afternoon planning a new project for the eyesore of a chicken pen (to be rehomed in our delux dog kennel which the dogs are too posh for!) and the lower half of our parterre. We are planning an additional seating area which gets the last rays and a wildlife pond. We're going to be seated over the ashes of my late dog, the beloved Tula. Irony is we kept one of Hootie's puppies and named her Tula2!!
Had to look that up @Dovefromabove, not nice at all. Has he been warned he may have vertigo after the op? I had to use a walking stick after mine - horrible feeling.
Sounds like you have great plans @sam bevington, shame about the Lladro.
That sounds very worrisome @Dovefromabove. I do hope all goes well.
It has turned filthy out there with a strong, cold wind blowing drizzle which will turn into heavy rain. I have spent a cosy couple of hours in the PT and now have all the fuchsias potted up into permanent pots and cuttings taken too. Slow going with chooks fossicking about but even the grumpiest and most wary will now take a slug off my finger, muttering all the while, and yes she did look at me sideways and every which ways first.
I have not sown seeds. Those chooks get everywhere so I need to wait till I can banish them from the PT or rig up something chook proof to keep seed trays safe. Dust bath heaven for them in there on wet days but not once I get the toms and chilliies planted.
Coffee now to warm up then a shower before I cook dinner.

Hi folks, No gardening here today, too wet and windy. Took delivery of a couple of clematis and Hubby's garden chair. Just waiting for the raised beds now. Lots of seeds have germinated (just waiting for the peppers). I've been sorting out articles from old GW mags that I want to keep. I've been meaning to do it for ages. Apart from that it's been mainly relaxing and watching TV.
Thanks for all the good wishes, going to do some prep now....PPP...PPP!! Newsreader outfit for tomorrow, smart upstairs and tracky bottoms below! Missing playing hockey each week; stress breaking - a beer and a fag after the match 🤫🤫🤫
Thank you folks 🤗. It seems my family is putting the poor NHS through its paces at the moment. 💙 Mind you his op is being done at the private Nuffield hospital but on the NHS because of Covid.
Dear Wonky and her Lovely Hub area being complete stars ... he’s staying with them and she’s taking him to and from hospital etc and looking after him ... and she’s been doing his delivery job this week for the pharmacy while he self isolates. As I said, a ⭐️ 😎

End of a sunny day here but still quite a cold breeze wafting - or am I becoming a pussy?
