  • Thanks @KeenOnGreen

It’s a Geranium Pelgardini Vancouver Centennial.

You got me all excited, as I love Geranium's, but I realise you mean what I know as Pelargoniums.  I've decided not to buy any more tender plants, we have too many already.  A pity, as the foliage is stunning.
  • Yes pelargoniums! I just copied the name from the label.

I don’t buy many tender plants either since I don’t have a greenhouse (and honestly can’t be bothered with all the effort anyway!). Last year I brought anything tender near the house or left in the shed.

Some plants, supposedly tender, seem to cope better than expected in the South East eg. Tradescantia pallida, canna do fine outside.

@RoddersUK is this the first year for the Digiplex or are they returning? I am about to put some in the ground, but there is zero chance of the slugs letting them return next year, as they are perennials - the slugs and the foxgloves.

First year, new border! I do get thrushes and blackbirds having a go at the slugs, but doubt they will control them enough

It will be interesting to see how they do for you next year.

I've only had 1 lot of digitalis before, can't remember the variety, just remember white and red/pink dots, about 6/7ft tall.
Never saw them the next year.

This lot should come back next.
