@g.king I'm no expert either, the pot is quite small now in comparison to the tree. I'll probably give that tree a bit of a hard trim back this winter. It's most likely been in there around 5 years now, so does need repotting. The only problem is, I cannot get it out as it curves in at the top. I'll have to saw it out I think! Don't want to smash the pot. I treat them like my bonsais I used to have. I had some reasonably big Acer's in very shallow pots. Keep them watered and fed and they are happy.
Corydalis heavenly Blue which goes so well with the pot behind it. And below, not a rose but a tulip! Pink Victoria's Secret. Still looking gorgeous despite all the wind & rain.
Tulip 'Ballerina' has been hit by frost and killed buds, and tulip 'Sarah Raven'. Others have been fine. I have unknown GC orange bulbs that seemed to have loved the cold and go on for over a month. Crazy.
Finally my allium has opened, although I think it was prettier as a bud, we haven't had much sun the last couple of days, maybe it will look better if we get some today.

Nectaroscordum siculum
It’s the start of Azalea and Rhododendron season here. I have many specimens and this white one is always the first of the Rhodies to bloom.
