    Oh that deep purple (Linaria?) with the pale mauve (Delphinium?) is such a fantastic combination.

    @Eustace, my amaryllis only produced leaves at Christmas (it's 3rd year) but  its flowering now.

    @Suesyn yes, I have had amaryllis flowering in the summer for a few years now, but not so well-developed flowers. Usually I just put the pot outside during the summer, but not bother repotting. This year I replanted the bulb in fresh compost and it has flowered spectacularly. :)

    That's lovely @Eustace.  We have the Sparkling Burgundy variety, and I must say I think your flower is prettier.  Must get myself some of the green-leaved ones.
