Tricyrtis - a present from my neighbour - happy in a shady spot.
First year flowering for the hydrangea paniculata vanille fraise.
I'm not overly a fan of begonias but it feels churlish to be snooty about these blooms.
Canna desperately trying to outgrow the crocosmia.
Not the prettiest dahlia out there but without doubt the easiest. Comes back every year, largely left alone by slugs and snails (they never seem to get further than half a leaf), flowers from early summer to autumn, needs very little care, super easy to take cuttings from (and flowers the same year) and popular with the bees.
Alstroemeria Inticancha Moon - a birthday present from earlier this year. Smaller than I had realised but lovely nevertheless.
First year flowering for the Eucomis - hardier than I'd realised. Survived this year's late freeze.
A happy accident at the side of the house.
Sweetly scented fireworks - worth the nightmare of spending the next 10 months pulling up seedlings!
Without doubt my easiest rose - Olivia Rose Austen. In its third year and standing tall.

Thriving on neglect!
