Poppy Beauty of Livermere the king of Poppy's in my opinion beautiful true red colour Front garden bit bare at the moment, I haven't emptied the pots yet of spring bulbs etc , hopefully I do that later today or tomorrow. Planted a new lavender hedge next to the lawn , I am thinking off removing the lawn later this year. 'General' views of my paved urban front garden. There is only a tiny strip of soil in the front where I have a few roses, azalea, kniphofia and the peony. Rest of the plants are in pots.

First of my dahlias to flower. This is a Bishops child planted as seed last year and just left in the pot in the greenhouse overwinter with no heat and no water. I've taken cuttings from some of the tubers that I lifted and planted them all into pots but none are as advanced as this.
