Some of the tulips in my garden. This is all one big bed which was completely emptied and expanded when we moved here. I have never bought and planted any builds in here but have found bulbs when digging and popped them into any available space. Serendipitously they seem to have put themselves in colour groups!
@Suesyn - absolutely gorgeous! And how amazing you planted like with like when replanting the bulbs! I deliberately planted mine into colour groups, straight from the bags - but still seem to have the odd stray.

The leaves go to ordinary mid green in the summer.
Monty did a feature on Friday explaining how bluetits pollinate crown imperials. I wasn't aware that any birds played that role in the UK.
