Struggling to concentrate on work today even though I know that I'll end up having to do more on Sunday to catch up :(

I can confirm that frogs do squeak, normally when a biglad has disturbed them whilst mowing the lawn :open_mouth:

My ex-NDN also had a severe phobia and would scream at me to "come and get rid of it" on a regular basis. A fence panel would swiftly get removed so I could go and repatriate the tiny, little things. I think the current NDN just puts them in her cauldron ;)

  • LB it’s good you had a worthwhile trip to sm, but a shame you can’t get in the garden.  Maybe tomorrow hun.  I’ve had the vaccine.  It was very quick, two mins in total.  I have taken som paracetamol just in case.  I didn’t have to wait afterwards.  The surgery was empty apart from me and mum.   Chive it’s good your brother is getting his vaccine.  I hope he’ll feel okay afterwards.  Hazel I hope you’ve had some good memories of dad today.  I hope you’re okay.
  • Afternoon everyone,
RosieBB I hope all goes well with your vaccine today🤞it’s so encouraging to hear so many of you are receiving it. I hope the paracetamol helps to ward off any discomfort afterwards,
Hazel I hope your sleep pattern improves in time it’s hard to function fully on less, though you do very well with all that you accomplish. Nice thoughts of your dads birthday this week 🌹
My brother came home from work early today unfortunately he is feeling rough after the Pfizer jab, it does seem to affect some that way,
LB Good to get all you wanted at the SM & some compost, our Sco has placed all the bags by the exit which makes it very difficult to purchase. Shame about the rain 😕🌧
Rubee That is a good use for the milk tins I hope you get an opportunity to finish painting them, what colours are you doing?
Biglad You sound like a very handy neighbour to have, hope you get your work finished today without losing precious time at the weekend.
Ah well this won’t do, must get a few bits done.
    Have a nice afternoon all.

Hello again. Biglad! Are you telling me your current NDN is a bit of a witch?  I know my Bestie is as her birthday is on Hallowe'en and she can't cope with anything that crawls or slimes round her plastic garden. I used to get roped in to do all that but I haven't seen her since last year now so heaven knows how she has been coping. I do know that she has done a lot of decorating. I won't know her house the next time I get there. Chive that is a bad organisation at your SM. Mine have the composts by the entrance. RosieBB, glad that you have had your first vaccine. Hope that you recover very quickly. No one in my family circle or friends circle have had any bad reactions so I'm sorry to hear that Chive's brother is feeling a bit rough. Ruby, your tins sound ideal. Will they be in the shade in your garden? I can feel a camouflage tin coming on with the green and brown paint. Hazel, I hope this week has been filled with many lovely memories.

  • LB I hope Lily is suitably satisfied now her needs have been met 😽  You’re right it is bad organisation at my Sco, it’s certainly a poor choice of location for potential sales 😠  I wonder what choices your bestie has made with decorating having seen the fabulous Halloween display, does she like dramatic interior colours?

Chive, I think her daughter has had a strong input into the wallpaper. She has chosen a design that I would never in a million years thought my Bestie would have picked herself. Daughter is quite a 'traditional cottage style furnishings and accessories' girl which always makes Bestie and I smile because neither of us know where she got all that from. The wallpaper chosen has lots of big, blowsy pink roses with butterflies on it. Very chintzy!
