Afternoon all,  Lovely planter @Rubee  I've spent a good 3 hours in the garden today clearing the remaining borders, pruning last of the roses, cleaning all the bird feeders and mowing/edging the back lawn.  Just the front garden to do now, hopefully I'll get it done before the new raised bed is delivered.  It's starting to drizzle so I've come in for a cuppa and flapjack.
I'm shattered now but very pleased to get back on track with the garden.
Hope everyone has a good day.

  • Hello

Rubee I love your planter. You are very clever.

I have been to the Supermarket this morning and done most of my jobs so I can watch the snooker final this afternoon. It is just about to start. I am a Ronnie O'Sullivan fan but I am also routing for his opponent as he is seeded 81. To be honest with you I have never actually heard of Jordan Brown before (or if I have it has passed me by).

Purplerose I haven’t heard of Jordan Brown either.  Enjoy the snooker.  I’m just on my last of Lily’s tv.  The sun has come out for a short while and there is a gentle breeze.   Yvie put your feet up and enjoy your flapjack.

PR, I used to watch snooker in the days of John Virgo, Tony Knowles, Bill Werbeniuk, Cliff Thorburn, Doug Mountjoy and others whose names escape me now - ooh just remembered another - Ray Reardon, so that gives you a good idea of how ancient I am!

  • Afternoon All,
RosieBB It sounds like a nice afternoon for your wet things, I have mine hanging outdoors getting some air. Hope you are still feeling ok after having the vaccine,
Yvie Good to hear you’ve been able to get out and work on the border as planned, tea and a flapjack sounds lovely,
LB That is handy having a post collection on a Sunday, I used to like watching Ray Reardon play I always thought his hairstyle made him look slightly sinister 🧛‍♂️
PurpleRose Enjoy watching the snooker this afternoon, that’s more my cup of tea a nice quiet sport,
You may recall my solar fountain which packed up last year, the new parts came before Christmas and i have finally got it working again with a little sunshine today 🌤

Ray Reardon was mums cousin, he always looked a bit like a vampire.
