  • @star gaze lily sooty to hear you’ve had a reaction to your Covid jab.  I hope you’ll be feeling better very soon.  Night night everyone.
  • Just saw the post thank you for the update Hazel, Sorry to hear that SGL has had a bad reaction to the jab, best wishes to her hope she feels better soon 🌷
    Goodnight
  • I’m awake so I’ve popped in the kitchen for a cuppa.  Alfie has joined me.  He’s a good companion. I think once I’d said the words slept longer my brain had reprogrammed.  It’s quite chilly at this time in the morning.  I’ve had a very early breakfast as I was feeling quite peckish.  I hope you are all sound asleep.
  • Hazel I found Finding Alice to be a daft programme too.

Sorry to hear that SGL is one of the unfortunates who has had a bad reaction to the vaccine. Get better soon SGL, you are missed!
RosieBB, another broken night for you but your ever faithful Alfie is there to share the early hours.

Good morning LB and all to follow. Off to work in a bit but hoping for some garden time later.
SGL hope you feel better soon, bet you are relieved to have had the vaccine though.
Spent 3 hours at allotment yesterday and have completely revamped my “ bee friendly “ area, dug a hole for water feature and surrounded it with big stones, cleared it out too, the 2 fishes are alive and well. It’s just a big plastic animal feed bowl so looks a lot better now. Planted up bed around it though I need more salvia and thyme plants. Apparently bees who feed on thyme suffer less from bacterial infections.
Dug up roses too for my new beds at home though they don’t look good.
Fiancé “pruned” the soft fruit not sure we will get much this year but it keeps him happy.
Lots still to do but good to have made a start.
Hope you all have a good day planned.

Morning Ruby and Debs. Gosh Debs, you were busy yesterday. Roses are almost bomb proof. Just prune them hard back after you replant them and they should be just fine. I am hoping to use my new compost and get some hardy annuals started. Some seeds could just go straight into the ground but I reckon Mr P and his entourage might eat them all up before they have chance to germinate.

Ante - so sorry about your football team!
PR, I think you will remember the name Jordan Brown forever now after his wonderful win against Ronnie O'Sullivan.

  • Morning

LB, Malta is such a lovely island. I spent many a happy summer holiday there as a child and teenager, exploring on the little green buses.

I hope SGL is feeling better very soon.

We started taping Finding Alice. We heard such reviews from people watching it. All seemed to have similar feelings so we cancelled the recording. We normally make our own minds up about programmes as everyone's taste is different but every one had the same thoughts about i

Debs, sounds like you have been very busy. It's good to make a start. I did not know that about thyme and bees. I may get so onto have outside now as it helps the bees.

Off to work in a minute. I hope you all have a good day whatever you are doing 😁
