  • Mr PR did enjoy his chocolate. It was nicely and chilled and solid for him - just how he likes it.

Rubee, I will need to look out for one of those Toblerones. It is one of my favourites. I am normally the one who buys a giant one in the airport and sits munching on it on my flight πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ they are big but not 3 foot.

LB love the bouquet of pork pies. I think Mr PR would love that, accompanied with branston pickle.

    A very good morning everyone.
Image result for its monday again
I hope that you all have a good day. I had a rubbish night last night - what is it with these sleep patterns? Might nod off again later. Very mild outside. Might even get into the garden.

Good morning Ruth (you snuckered in!) and Chive. Oh yes PurpleRose, you have to have some sort of pickle with a pie. My preference is for sweet pickled onions - the ordinary ones are too strong and just make me cough.

  • Morning everyone,
Absolutely pouring down here, that will wash the rest of the snow away.
Didn't post yesterday as I didn't feel that great, didn't sleep well Saturday night again and had the most awful headache all day. Slept ok last night, but still feel rather tired but headache has gone.Β
LB sorry you didn't sleep well either. There was something about sleepless nights during this last year. Saying how so many people have mentioned it. They just suggested the normal things about reading a book at bedtime, not drinking too much caffeine etc.Β  I can do all that, but it doesn't make any difference at the moment.Β  Have a restful day LB, take care.
I've seen those huge toblerones at the airport @Rubee πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹
Take care everyone, have a good dayΒ

Hello SGL, I thought I hadn't seen you yesterday. So sorry to hear you weren't feeling great. I don't do any eating or drinking caffeine loaded drinks after 19:00 as I know that will be a guarantee to keep me awake. Nothing seems to work. You look after yourself and have a nice, quiet day yourself. Ooh look, its elevenses time!

  • Hello

LB I love pickles. Lidls do really tiny pickled onions. They are delicious.

SGL I hope that you feel better soon. Make sure you keep well hydrated. I get awful headaches if I dont drink enough water.

Afternoon all, Oh I wish I could eat pickle onions, I love them but even a little bite sets off my IBS and I suffer for days.Β  Lovely day here, sun is shining, it's mild and dry.Β  I've been out in the garden all morning pruning roses, cutting back hellibore leaves, moving pots around ready for the new raised beds and generally tidying up.Β  Another couple of sessions and Ill be ready to FBB and Mulch.Β  I feel so much better for having a work out.Β  Mind you tomorrow I might regret the activity.Β  Lots of snow drops, crocus and primroses flowering and all the bulbs are starting to grow.Β  It always makes me feel so positive about things when the garden starts to wake up.
I also dug up a couple of roses I'm not keen on Mayflower and Susan Williams Ellis or Ellis Williams can never remember which way round it is.Β  I've ordered Eustacia Vye and Chandos Beauty instead.

Yvie I am the same, I love pickled onions but I would be ill for days .Lily sorry to hear that you are under the weather ,I hope you feel a lot better soon . I have had a pleasant HALF hour in the garden . I thought I was going to be out for a lot longer . When I dug my fork into the soil it was still frozen even though the top couple of inches are soft .managed some tidying and came in . Did a lot of indoor stuff.
