  • @Yviestevie So very sorry to hear that SIL is still so very poorly. Hope he starts to get better soon.  Pleased that first born is feeling better better now. Unfortunately tiredness can go on for sometime with coronavirus, hopefully firstborn won't suffer with it too long. Very best wishes to you and your family

    Lovely Christmas cactus Hazel.

Good morning RosieBB and Hazel (you didn't need an early morning call to day Hazel, though I was awake at that time). I hope you two are both asleep now.

Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
  • Good Morning RosieBB, Hazel & LB and all to follow,
Rosie I hope you got to sleep after.

I hope all goes well with your 1st vaccine today LB,

Hazel I hope you’ve managed to get back to sleep, that was a very early start. Your Christmas cactus is lovely, you gave it the right motivation to flower.

Yvie I’m sorry to hear the news of SIL I hope he recovers soon, a worry for your firstborn when she is just on the mend herself. When I come onto this site it shows me as logged out and the thread goes back to page 1. I find if I click on forum home page straight away and let it all refresh the new posts return to normal. I use an iPhone.

    Have a good day everyone.

Morning Chive. Thanks for the wishes. I can't wait until this afternoon (but I'll have to! ) and then I'll be waiting (im)patiently until my second on April 24th. Hope you have a good day with the small people.

  • Morning LB, I’d be the same watching the clock until it’s time to go. I hope you don’t have to travel far for your appointment and the road conditions have improved. Are all the roadworks finished, or has the recent deluge put things behind?
  • Ladybird4Ladybird4 Posts: 37,906
The road works Chive, are on the Lane parallel to my Crescent and the temporary traffic lights are opposite my drive. These will probably help me getting out into the traffic flow though so will be useful today. I only have to travel into town which is roughly 4 miles and once I've parked its only about a 5 minute walk to the Chemist's. I have no idea what they are actually doing in the road though.

Chive And LB I did manage to go back to bed and have a few hours sleep.  Alfie kept me company.  Bless him.  Hazel I hope you managed to do the same.  LB I’ll be thinking about you for your appointment.  Wishing you well.  I hope your roadworks are soon completed.  Chive keep warm apparently we are set for colder weather.
  • Good Morning RosieBB, Glad you got some more sleep. Yes it does sound like a cold snap is forecast for the weekend, I hope you stay nice and warm,
LB Great when the temporary lights aid your exit, no it’s often unclear what these roadworks are all about.I hope Jack got on ok with his eye appointment yesterday.
Just savouring that last cuppa before I set off, enjoy your afternoon everyone.
