  • Thank you for the quiz LB. Enjoy the rugby 🏈🏈

  • Afternoon everyone,
Nice to see you PurpleRose, sorry to hear you slipped over in the garden yesterday i hope that little finger improves over the weekend. Another tea drinker here, speaking of which it’s time to put the kettle on.
Hazel I'm glad your eye feels better hopefully the swelling will reduce quickly. You’ve done well in the garden, I ventured out to bring a potted plant under cover and top up the bird feeder. I wanted to go in the shed but the door is stuck fast as it’s swollen up, try as I might I couldn’t budge it! A job for OH when the weather improves he will be pleased 😬
RosieBB I plan to do the same as you, stay in the warm 🤗
I hope LB has her front row seat for the rugby and is getting stuck into the game,
Rubee that is a great photo, whatever it is that’s got their attention and they are all captivated by it 🤔😀

Hi folks, No good news I'm afraid.  Firstborn was in a terrible state yesterday.  She has tried to get someone to look at her Hubby with a view to getting him on steroids.  Paramedics can't do anything.  Doctor can't prescribe without seeing him.  They said he needs a chest x ray before he gets prescribed them.  How on earth she is supposed to get him to hospital when he can hardly breath and can't walk God only knows.  Also, would they even see him.  In theory he should not be contagious now but I wouldn't bet on it.  She just doesn't know what to do.  I'm really worried about them all at the moment.

I've occupied myself this morning by getting all the seed sowing stuff out of the shed and bringing in a bag of seed compost so that I can't start sowing some seeds.

  • @Yviestevie Oh my goodness, how utterly awful for firstborn to have to manage this situation with her husband when he is clearly so poorly. I’m very sorry, I can imagine you are extremely worried, she needs to talk to a medical professional for guidance this is horrendous.

She's been trying to @Chivetalking but she just ends up going round in circles.
Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands
  • @Yviestevie is there anyone on this forum able to help? It’s terrible that she can’t get the answers from those she has spoken to.

Yvie I am so sorry to hear your news. First born must be really stressed.I think it’s shocking that she has not received help .Is there anyone else that could be contacted?
  • Oh @Yviestevie that is awful. Why won't the paramedics take him in the ambulance!
@punkdoc on either covid thread or forkers might be able to advise you. I really hope firstborn gets some advice and help soon.

Hazel what have you done to your eye ? It sound as though it’s been quite painful . Good that it’s getting better .
