Good morning early bird Biglad and Ante. Good to see you both. I agree about the quiet beauty a snowfall can bring to the garden Biglad. Ante, I hope that you can gather your thoughts today with peace from the works. I bet your dog is looking forward to a long walk.

I've got to give Jack a call at 08:00 this morning as he has an eye appointment at 09:30 and he wants to be sure he's up and ready for when his daughter picks him up. He asked me to call yesterday and then discovered he had got the wrong day! He is not an early bird and, as he says, there is only ever one eight o'clock in his day and its the one in the evening!

Good morning. Work today hoping to hear more about the merger which has now happened. There is talk of a visit from new bosses sometime this week.
Dry here and not too cold. Looking forward to my spring bulbs showing their faces soon.

Good morning Debs. I hope that you get some good news about the merger which will help to allay the anxieties you had earlier. I think that once I see the crocuses in flower in my garden I will know that Spring has finally arrived.

Good morning SGL. I've called Jack - had to wait a while until he answered the phone but he's up now. Its pouring down here too SGL - no gardening to day. Whilst I love the snow I would rather it stays away until after I have my jab tomorrow afternoon. Don't want to be slipping and sliding all over the show. I've been in tears watching all the lovely tributes to Captain Tom this morning.

Morning Ruby. Yes, cats are irresistibly drawn to boxes. I remember one of my cats getting his head stuck in one of those square tissue boxes and in his blind panic he ran all over the living room colliding with everything until I was able to rescue him. He then gave me that 'I meant to do that!' look. I had to try hard not to roll on the floor laughing!

Aww so have I LB 😓😓 So very sad. He's like everyone's Grandpa.
Glad Jack is up and ready, bless him.
Yes, agree the snow can arrive for you after you've had your vaccine.
Just having another cup of tea Ruby 😉
  • LB the tributes to Sir Capt Tom were lovely.  I’m so pleased he had felt rejuvenated and had done some amazing things. Bless him.  Big lad a covering of snow makes all the difference to our gardens.  Rubee cats do love their boxes and bags.  Ante I think there will be more snow here too it does make a lovely picture.  Chive I hope you are wrapped up.  Lily enjoy your cup of tea, I’ll have one with you :)
