Morning LB,   LB it’s been rather windy here too.  Ante and Biglad and all to follow.  Lovely picture Ante.  A very cold night indeed.  I’m up early as I shamefully didn’t rise until quite late yesterday.  I drifted back to sleep after my alarm.  I have Lily’s tv to do so up with the larks.   I hope you weren’t too cold.

RosieBB, today could be an excellent day for Lily's TV duites - nice wind to dry all the cloth things. I got mine done the other day - I go with the weather forecast more than having a special day for laundry duties.

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! We don’t make a big fuss of the day as fiancé is usually working so it’s just cards and a roast dinner. Maybe a glass of fizz and a film later.
Saw my new grandson yesterday. He is lovely very calm but alert and daughter looked really well and so happy. Her husband is looking after her so well he is a smashing chap.
Still very cold here but warmer days are on the way and hopefully soon better days. Been a bit down lately like many other people I expect but things are definitely improving.
Hope everyone has a happy and cosy Sunday.

Hadn't realised it was Valentine's Day until seeing it on here. That probably gives an indication of how it will be 'celebrated' here :o

It doesn't matter @Ladybird4. It could be the most exciting game ever but I will still drop off as soon as it starts :(  Watching the repeat now though to delay doing anything useful for an hour.

Loads I should do today but lacking motivation at the minute.

There is just something really magical in seeing new life - be it a tiny person or baby creatures. Despite all the crap we have had to put up with for over a year a shared moment like this reminds us that not everything has been bad in these times. Thanks for the picture Debs. There is something very special about seeing a baby held by his proud and loving Dad.

I am a doting nanny I am afraid so glad you like the photo, I agree we need to see new life after a long cold winter My miniature daffodils on the kitchen windowsill have small flowers on. I admit I prefer them to red roses at this time of year. Not romantic I know but they mean hope to me. My sweet pea seeds arrived yesterday so I will be sowing those on Monday. More hope for the future, fingers crossed we can have a good summer.
