That's a sweet colour mix. No proper snow here, some fun tiny snow balls like polystyrene earlier and a drizzle mix now.
Got soaked to the skin yesterday in a couple of unpleasant hours of gardening. It wasn't exactly rose related but has freed up an area for another rose, I was thinking a China called Comtesse du Cayla but now having second thoughts.
Also had inspiration for a path edge area where I planted all the left-over perennials and I'm not overwhelmed with the unimaginative planting. I was thinking another gallica as the two I have keep their leaves over winter and the rest of the bed is a bit bare and spiky. Will have to do some musing!
Just a few we grow but too many photo's to post, we also cut, arrange and do photography mainly using a macro lens, but i will say all our roses are David Austin olde english varieties grow

We’ve only had a light dusting of snow so far, but there is time yet.. raining today and getting colder again after a wonderful sunny spell last week. Still, I’m hoping that long spell of minus temps is over 🤞 Lots of roses leafing up, but recently planted Cramoisi Superieur has suffered a bit of frostbite on the new growth.
Lovely photos @Marlorena and @Te. Welcome to the rose thread Te, whereabouts do you garden?
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.

Hi Nollie, both central England and Cornwall, we have more success with roses further north though

Sunny but cold weather here, just above freezing, and the same is expected for the rest of the week. Fingers crossed that it won't be too bad for everyone on the East coast. I bought Sulphur rose and want to do a dormant spray this week. After this week gets over, it will be probably too wet and rainy to do that.
Snow here @Marlorena. (N. Suffolk). I am so looking forward to the new season as I have 10 new roses (from David Austin) to look forward to. They went into lovingly prepared beds with lots of horse muck and are beginning to leaf up. They include Gertrude Jekyll which will grow over an arch and Roserie de l'Hay with will go up a fence. And as they are new there is no need for me to prune them until the end of the season. My rosa banksiae had to have quite a severe chop last autumn. But it's so lovely and so welcome in spring.

...where did you get your sulphur spray from? I've never used it, is it a regular spray regime you intend to do?..
