Much as I dislike those idiots, he's even more of a twut. A gold plated one.
Maybe he think car plants grow cars too?

OH passed his six months since 2nd Covid vaccination at the weekend. I’ve been trying on the NHS website every day to get his booster booked, but so far, ineligible. Tried this morning, and he can now book, got him an appointment for next week at the local centre, just down the road. Very pleased and relieved.

@Ergates, we had our booster jabs this morning. So far so good. Interestingly OH had a third Pfizer dose whilst I've had two AZ ones and then Pfizer today. It's good timing for us as we have a family meetup planned for ten days time so hopefully will give us a bit more protection at the hotel.

That’s good timing,Lizzie 27. My first and second dose were four days after OH. I was rather hoping we might get them done together, but I wasn’t prepared to wait for the GP surgery to call us. When OH goes to the centre for his, I shall take my evidence of first and second dose dates, and ask nicely if I might be able to have my booster at the same time. It sounds as if they are doing walk ins for first and second doses, so maybe they will take pity on me.
Then if we both have a bad reaction, we can loll around at home together, feeling sorry for ourselves!

    Sounds a good plan @Ergates.

Get my booster on Saturday.  I thought I heard that only Pfizer was being used for booster.

Mmm, what to do for the best? OH booked for booster next Wednesday afternoon at the local vaccination centre.
Ive just been to the GP surgery for a thyroid blood test, and the practice nurse told me I could book my flu and booster. Great! I’ve booked us both in for both jabs for next Thursday. However, the receptionist then added in passing, ‘if we get the vaccine, but it should be fine’. I’ve decided not to cancel his appointment on Wednesday while I think about it. Do I take a chance that Thursday at the GP will go to plan? The vaccination centre is only 20 minutes drive away, but obviously not offering flu jabs as well.
    Any thoughts?
  • The NHS seem to have everything here under control now.
A month ago we went to a local masonic hall for our Covid booster, it was well organised.
This afternoon we're going to the village pharmacy for a "walk-in flu jab."

Where would we be without the NHS, and of course the BBC??
