Genuinely laugh out loud. One of the funniest pieces of 'journalism' I've seen in ages  :D

    The Guardian review is ‘interesting’.
It really was the most appalling programme … no design skills at all (I speak as one with design qualifications 😉 ) and treating the public as objects to ridicule. Appalling!

As for LLB’s trousers … leather? Or vinyl ? Whichever they were,  they were acting as a cross between a foundation garment and support hose. And it’s probably a good thing that they were 😝

It'll give you a laugh @Dovefromabove - just don't have a mouthful of coffee on the go at the same time as reading  ;)

I should have said - yes, it was her piece  :D

I needed a good laugh after the sad news about the inimitable Sean Lock yesterday though. His 'bag for life' joke ...just brilliant

I felt for that  poor woman who’d spent money on a set of slightly too large veneers cos she was going to be on tv, and then couldn’t close her mouth without pursing her lips … she could have done with that money to buy several coats of magnolia emulsion.

And LLB’s flamingos … is that the only ‘painting’ he’s ever done?  He’s inordinately proud of it … it’s been re-hashed and used sooooo many times in the past on Changing Rooms … it’ll soon be turning up on Antiques Roadshow 😂

I remember the time he got a large motheaten rug out of the garage, turned it upside down and spray painted the hessian . Then there was a staircase painted silver. I think shocking pink was involved too.
The later fashion for blank canvas beige in case you want to sell it programmes were just as bad. And don't mention feature walls. One little space where you could allow your lack of taste full rein.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

Surely LLB will be on the Antiques Roadshow before long.  As one of the items being valued (worth nowt luv) rather than one of the experts.
