Thanks @steveTu. It was Plusnet themselves that blocked my OH's emails as they detected suspicious activity (Russian/Chinese hackers?)on it, despite us having Avast Premium security package. They don't seem able or willing to unblock the account.

North East Somerset - Clay soil over limestone

I thought the BBC would be better at phrasing than this:
"A Met Office yellow snow and ice warning is in place for large parts of the country until 12:00 on Friday."

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I had to pop out to get pet food and hadn't quite realised how cold it is out there. Putting alcohol gel on your hands while outside is certainly refreshing in this wind :#  I won't make that mistake again...
and while I'm curmudgeoning; Why is there a twenty car queue for the coffee shop drivethrough when we're on lockdown? Surely takeaway coffee isn't an essential service? The place only opened this month and already the coffee cups are piling up on the sides of the roads. :|  I thought these places at least made a token effort at litter picking for the first few weeks? Or is that just where locals objected to the planning application?

I've been after some new tillandsia this year and was hoping to pick some up at one of the plant shows but I guess they're not going to happen now. The specialist nursery I normally buy from has been out of stock with one plant for months now so I emailed to ask if they were expecting any to get to a sellable size soon. They emailed back after a few days and said they've got plenty in stock but are refusing to sell them to the general public because so many have been killed within a short time of purchase. Considering how long it takes to get the plants up to a sellable size I can imagine it must be very disappointing to see them get killed off so quickly. Quite a few people must have been putting the blame on the seller for them to withdraw them like this. :/

Perhaps if you sent them some photos of your collection, they might trust you @wild edges

    I think that’s a good idea.

I might just do that. I've got a couple just coming into flower too.
