My laptop has just broken again. Went to open it up and there was a loud cracking noise and the hinge has sheared off. Screen now at an odd angle.
Only consolation - I hope - is that when it was repaired last time, they gave me another 2 year warranty on it. I must go and find the paperwork for it. Am a bit gutted as I use it continually throughout the day and will now have to live without it for a week or two.
    What price addiction!!!

Not to get embroiled in the sport thing but when I lived at home we had a tapestry (done by my grandmother) hanging at the foot of the stairs.ย  It was perpetually pointed out to me as a child by my father:

"For when the great Scorer comes
    To write against your name
He writes not that you won or lost
But how you played the game."

That was typed from memory and I wish it hadn't been.

Oh, and when a check out person decided to remark on my 'other' SM bag I pointed out she should be grateful as I was in her SM.ย  She looked puzzled.

That's what Moira does too @Hostafan1
How can you lie there and think of England
When you don't even know who's in the team

I asked for a new insulated mug for Xmas but didn't get one so I asked for one for my birthday instead. The general view seemed to be I should buy one for myself and someone will probably send me the money for it maybe. I was sent a 21% off discount code from a company that we bought the kids' drinks bottles from so had a look at their mugs and found one that already had 20% off on sale. It's probably a good mug but all the photos on the website were of attractive people holding the product in a way that made it hard to see it and there were no detail photos of the important bits (of the mug not the models). To get free delivery I ordered two so my wife can have one as well. So basically I've had to buy my own birthday present and buy my wife a present as well. I'll be happy though as long as my drink stays warm while I'm hiding from the kids in the greenhouse. :|
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
