@Hostafan1 ouch!!! Probably an overwintering queen ... put an ice bag or bag of frozen peas on it. Have you got antihistamine?
No need. I am, as you know, dead butch.

We have seen Bumblebees and flies  today no wasps though.
Heavy snow here. Not a bug to be seen.

I just got my replacement debit card. I then worked out how old I'd be when it ran out😞
When you get yours - don't do it! Ten years on a passport seems - well is- so much further away but four years seems awful soon.

I have just been listening to the weather forecast. I think it should be illegal to refer to snow coverage in centimetres and not inches.

Fahrenheit to prove how hot it is in the summer and Celsius to prove how cold it is in the winter.

As someone who works exclusively in millimeters I still measure snow in inches. The inch of snow we had overnight was enough to crack a pane of glass in the greenhouse roof sadly. It stood up to TBFTE and plenty of storms just fine so no idea why it suddenly went this time. Snow is very useful for cleaning the glass and frame though, I just rub it on as I'm clearing the roof off. It scours off all the algae, gets into tight cracks and conforms to the shapes really nicely. less messy than a pressure washer.

Cumulative stresses and last straw syndrome @wild edges?

I now measure in cms most of the time - wood, curtain rails, fencing etc and even dressmaking but machine patchwork is done in inches because most of the innovation in techniques comes from time pressured US women and some Brits and Ozzies who are all using the same templates and cutting rulers..

@Hostafan1  Probably a bit late now, but undiluted vinegar dabbed on takes the heat out of the sting and the heat out of the itch.  Also Tiger Balm when it starts to get itchy.
A good hoeing is worth two waterings.

@Obelixx   and Kiwis too.  Still hard to fathom 15cm - I can get a metre, though.
