Hazel it can be quite fun walking in the snow, especially if you’re the first steps.  Chey I hope you had a peaceful New Year.  Lily silly it’s quite cold here.  I’ve just washed and dried my hair and I put my chunky dressing gown on.  I’m dressed now as expecting an sm delivery this evening.  I’m not very very hungry so making a tunamayo sandwich for tea.

    Afternoon all,

More snow is falling here too but the bin wagon made it up the street to empty our full bin before it got bad enough for them not to bother.

Oh Chey, another lovely view. Lots of snow in Buxton. Lilysilly I'm another 12th night dekkie demolisher. It is bad luck to take dekkies down earlier because legend has it that tree spirits move into the trees and holly (not sure these would apply to artificial items though) during the festive season and have to be released once the holiday is over. Failure to do this will lead to the grass and other greenery not returning and therefore affect this years crops.

Evening all,  Deccies taken down and stored in the cellar and the sitting room has been thoroughly cleaned.  I have a cold but it's not too bad.  Apparently Jonah is doing OK, lots of itchy spots but he's dealing well with it.  We had snow today too but a lot of it has already melted. Stay cosy folks.

Evening all. No snow here - it’s been sunny & bright if a little chilly.

Went for a longish walk around Knettishall Heath. Inadvertently did one of the trails which was closed due to flooding. Shall we just say it was a tad muddy? Nearly lost a shoe!

Lovely to hear Joyce’s daughter has been in touch. I miss Joyce.
