Morning SGL. That is horrid news for you again but I guess you were expecting it. I don't know much about things but to me it would seem sensible to have a complete lockdown rather than just bits and bats here, there and everywhere. I'm completely bemused by the whole situation. First certain things are allowable then almost overnight they are not. I just keep going with my head down, as I've said before, it does not really affect me too much but I have got a hair appointment on 23rd!

LB Lily seems very interested in the oxen bless her.  Chive I’m a late bird on parade.  I came down to install an update in the early hours and then came back to bed but didn’t sleep for a while. I’m late with Lily’s tv and having some warming porridge.    Lily no further snow today.  It’s wise to isolate.

Afternoon everyone, it’s become a bright and cheery day which is nice to see, but it also highlights that the windows need a clean 🤨
LB I hope Jack & your friends injections go well this week. I love the photo of Lily watching the OX, she is clearly enthralled with them,
Lily So sorry to hear that you are both locked down again, disappointing news I hope things start to improve after this 🤞
Rubee Stay in the warm and enjoy the snow from a comfy chair,
Hazel The staff are meeting tomorrow most of the childrens learning will be taught online as Ante was doing, not sure how we will feature in this unless we are delivering meals on wheels 😀
Hope you spot some more spring flowers popping up in the garden,
Rosie A bowl of porridge will set you up for the day, no rush for doing anything that’s what Sundays are for 😊
Hope you have a nice afternoon all.

    Afternoon all,

It seems to be the modern way to do everything early - decorations up early, decs down early. As I'm a dinosaur, I got the tree on Christmas Eve so everything will stay up until 12th night. Apart from anything else, I love the smell :)

I found my govt gateway user ID and password this morning. Since last tax return (31.1.20), the document concerned had been moved from a prominent position on top of a pile stacked on the floor in my busy office/pigsty (delete depending on viewpoint ;)). So from knowing exactly where it was, it was put in a file with other unrelated paperwork, placed carefully in a big cardboard box with other 'stuff' chucked in the box on top of the file. The box was then placed at the bottom of a pile of similar boxes on top of a desk , which then had a full clothes rail put in front of it to block access. It felt like I'd stepped into a scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark (the ark was hidden in a massive warehouse at the end of the film) or Harry Potter's Room of Requirement when I found it:D

OH will have to try harder next time she attempts to tidy up that room ;)

The desk is fine @Songbird-1, it's the rest of the office that somebody has issues with ;)

The problem is that I know where everything is before an impromptu tidy up. Afterwards, I can't function!

Hi all. Cold and damp here today, though the sun is trying hard to break through the cloud. I hope folk who had snow are able to safely get out and about if they need.
It's good to hear of people getting their vaccines and second doses. I don't agree with the government wanting to leave up to 12 weeks between doses. Just do it properly and follow the scientific advice from the teams of scientists who created and tested it's effectiveness.
Lots of emails and texts from work/ school today. It seems most staff do not feel safe returning on Tuesday so school probably will remain closed. I feel guilty as l have said l too feel unsafe, even with the key worker children so would prefer not to be in. We had a few incidents of parents sending children into school while they awaited positive test results so our trust in parents following the guidelines has been broken sadly. I wish they would just close all schools for a fortnight so the country can see where it's at after the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
I'm sorry to read you are confined again SGL.
I'm going to go in the garden now and trim off the old hellebore leaves, poor old Madame Lemoniere is quite swamped by scruffiness.
LB l love the picture of Lily watching TV.  l didn't do very well at your latest quiz.
