Good morning all, still a good bit of snow left here. I am glad fiancé is home to take me to work tomorrow as we live at the top of the hill and the pavements look treacherous. It’s a worry with so many elderly neighbours. Not sure whether to clear paths. I think more snow is forecast later.
I meant to say the other day T'Bird that your December is even more packed with birthdays than mine and I whole heartedly agree about the March edict. My Mum and Dad's wedding anniversary was March 22nd - I rest your case. Not, however, for ALL the birthdays in December that I celebrate as some crept over into January!
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Good morning Debs, you snuckered in there. I am always very, very careful when going out when its icy. I've just noticed that it has started to snow again!

I think I will clear as much as possible and then put salt down. When I am out walking in these conditions I am always so grateful to those who clear their paths. No more snow yet but sky looks very full.
Good morning to all. It's sunny and calm morning after storm Bella stroke us yesterday. We were without power major part of the day. I was at cottage two days and enjoyed on the snow with my dog. Now is time for another tea and reading back. Have a nice day.
Good Morning Rosie, LB, Debs & Ante and all to follow, Rosie I hope you’re back enjoying a slumber with Alfie, LB Must be looking quite festive outside, I didn’t see the tribute but there have been many great losses this year. I hope Jack enjoyed his break away with daughter and granddaughter, Debs Sounds sensible to get a lift from your fiancé, quite often the roads are better than the pavements to walk on when it’s icy mind how you go, Ante I hope you didn’t have any damage from Storm Bella, sounds like you and your dog had fun at the cottage in the snow, Some unmentionables to be done today, hope you all have a good day.
Good morning Ante and Chive. Ante, that must have been a bit frustrating to have lost your power for so long. I hope that storm Bella didn't do any more damage. Are the other pets staying safe?
Chive, Jack had had a lovely time and the people who own the log cabins had gone above and beyond treating them specially. They had a welcome hamper including prosecco on the table and, as asked, they had put an extra TV into the room Jack had. He was tickled pink (Ante - means very pleased) to discover he had a king sized bed. The log cabin had a clear view of Bassenthwaite Lake and I think that Jack was only sorry that he didn't have his fishing gear with him.

Morning LB and Chive. LB, all my pets are well and safe. They all have their place in the house. I'm ok because my street is downhill, but I saw that firefighters passed two times, probably to pump water from basements.
Chive, lovely seaside photo. I hope that you enjoyed walking there. Go easy with unmentionables today.
LB that holiday of Jack’s sounds idyllic so happy he had a good break I think this pandemic has been terribly hard on older people having to isolate. Hope he is now set up for the next lockdown.
Just been out to top up bird table and it’s milder out there let’s hope this snow is gone from the pavements before more falls.
Morning everyone. We have a covering of snow . It looks very pretty .Ante I hope that you had some alternative heat during you power cut .LB , Debs , and chive take care if you go out .I will be staying in .
