    Morning🙂
Sounds as though some of you were battered by Bella yesterday. I think we escaped with a bench blown over. It’s cold here today but no sign of any snow.

You have a lot of b’days in Dec LB. So do I - the 5th, 6th, 9th, 11th, 20th, 21st (x 2) and 30th. Until this year we also had FIL’s on the 4th. I think all hanky panky should be banned in March....🤨

Might go to SM today. I need some leeks for soup & to make a chicken pie with leftovers.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
  • Good Morning SGL, Topbird & Hazel,
Lily Sorry I missed your post earlier, hope you have a good day,
T’bird goodness December is a busy month of birthdays for you and LB. Hope you have a good SM shop today, the menu sounds good 😋
Hazel I did see Debs picture her garden looks like a winter wonderland it’s lovely, hope you have a nice trip to the GC this morning,
Wrapping up warm before setting out, have a good day all.

Morning all, we have snow too.  Looks lovely outside, but that's because I'm inside in the warm.  Firstborn is out sledging with Merri and Mabel.  Haven't got hold o Secondborn yet, but it will be Gabriels first experience of snow. Stay warm everyone.

LB, Hazel and Lily I’m glad you had a better nights sleep.   I had a sleep in and didn’t want to move.  Topbird another family with many birthdays at Christmas time.  Hazel I’ll take a look at Debs garden it sounds lovely.   Chive we had snow a few days ago but it didn’t stay.  I hope you all keep warm.  Hazel enjoy your outing.

    Afternoon all,

No snow here. Just dull and dry after Bella has moved on. Had a hobble around the garden earlier like the aged, hunched crone that I am and couldn't find any significant damage from the recent wind and rain.

Was thinking about a run today but the twinge in my back is suggesting otherwise. Magic creams, stretches and the foam roller might be as energetic as it gets today ;)

  • Afternoon everyone, had a nice walk along the seafront, all very calm on the water

Yvie I bet Merri & Mabel have fun sledging with mum and it will be lovely for Gabriel to experience  snow for the first time,
Rosie pleased you had a good sleep and a lie in just what Bank Holidays are for,

It sounds like the families have been having a fun time in the snow. I got a lovely picture from my sis-in-law of her two great nieces building a snowman in their garden. Here he is:
I thought the mask was a cute idea. Rudolf obviously ate all the carrots!
Chive that is a gorgeous picture. If you didn't know what time of year it was it could almost be summer. There are some interesting clouds in the distance too.
    @Biglad there is always tomorrow!

Good evening all just back from Oxford helping fiancé do his stocktake. Wonderful drive down in the snow, we spotted a beautiful hare in the snowy fields and the trees were exquisite. It’s hard to get good photos from a moving car but I took this when we were stopped for a few minutes. It’s an absolute pain I know but I do think snow is magical.

I'm with you there Debs. I love the first snowfall of the winter when everything is pristine and white.
