Morning SGL, Pauline and Ante. Storm Bella woke me at 04:00. Having read your post about your wreath SGL, I've just checked on mine and it is still in place. Oh Ante, I do love your cartoon. It brought a smile to my face. Thank you. And you have snow - so jealous. I'll just have to put up with the howling wind and torrential rain. Trust it to be like this as I have to feed the cats for the last time this morning. Not looking forward to that trip up the lane!
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Just in case anyone was wondering, I can confirm that spending Boxing Day afternoon reffing on top of a hill in deepest, darkest Lancashire was a tad damp and a wee bit chilly
Good job I'd thought ahead and added some extra insulation via all those roasties and mince pies
@Biglad - it must have been dire. I hope that you are having a day off from reffing today. The players would have great difficulty controlling the football.

Biglad sounds like wild weather you’ll. be glad to be back home to the warmth. Although it’s good to have an airing. Ante I like your cartoon very amusing. LB sounds like you had wild weather too. I hope everything is okay. Pauline I hope you get some sleep.

Mind how you go it sounds like rough weather today, Ante that’s a great cartoon and you have snow how wonderful, keep warm indoors & enjoy your leisurely Sunday, Lily I hope you managed some more sleep, the constant rapping on the door would have driven me mad too, Rosie I hope you managed to get some sleep too, Storm Bella was a wild one we heard the wind and rain during the night, Pauline hope you got some rest in the end, Biglad reffing on top of a hill yesterday crumbs you are a hardy chap, It’s grey & grim here this morning, Lily’s TV is on and starting a late breakfast. Hope you have a good day All.
Good morning all. Quiet day planned looking at gifts and tidying up, I am longing to take Christmas decorations down as I had so many lovely things for the house from my children I want to put them on display but I will wait until tomorrow. I am always the same very early to decorate but then I want them all down after Boxing Day.
Fiancé is once again on furlough so I want some decorating done in the new year.
The storm seems to have missed us here in the Midlands. Hope nobody had too much damage just disturbed nights.
Morning all.. I managed to get to sleep at about 4 and slept until 9. Off Into the garden for a bit now the wind has dropped a bit and the sun is shining.
Good morning everyone, Eventually got back to sleep. Haven't looked outside yet, but hopefully there's no damage. Need a cup of tea to bring me round 🤣 See you later everyone, hope all your gardens and roofs are ok.
*I typed the above about 2 and half hours ago 🤦♀️🤦♀️
The sun is shining now, with beautiful blue skies. Our weather is mad. Can't believe it's so lovely after last night's storms. Have been down the garden to see if there's any damage, apart from a few large twiggy branches from the oak tree all looks ok. Phewwww. Hope you're all ok, take care.

No game until next Saturday with a strong chance that the weather or new Covid restrictions will put an end to that.
