Hello all. My day has been a bit chaotic today - but in a nice way. I've had/made lots of phone calls to/from rellies and friends. At 14:50 there was a loud knock on the door. Big guy on the doorstep who told me he could clean out my gutters for me as he'd noticed things growing in it. I thanked him and told him that I didn't want him to do it. He was very polite and wished me all the best. After his van had pulled away I went out to look at the gutter and there was a rather large plant peeping over the edge. I got my ladders out of the garage and in 5 minutes I had cleared the gutter. It was quite remiss of me as this is a job I really enjoy doing so at least I had been galvanised into action. I clean the gutters every year but for some reason I had forgotten. I was glad he had drawn my attention to it.
The GH is looking quite full now and I noticed that one of the hardy geranium seeds I sowed earlier on has now started to germinate. I hope that the others grow too - you don't get many seeds in a packet.

    Good morning.

LB, my day was also chaotic. Nice that geraniums decided to show up.😁 It's pleasure to see that something is sprouting at this time in year.

Soggy and cloudy morning, but no wind. I'll start with my lights today and hope to finish all in one day. I must sow christmas wheat tomorrow.

    First tea then action.

Very dark and wet here this morning. Not sure much gardening will get done but I'll pot up some of my pelargonium cuttings and repot a begonia so at least some connection with nature will take place and - bonus - I can do those jobs indoors.
