  • Good Morning Debs, Biglad & Lily,
Debs I can only echo what has already been said, this album is a wonderfully thoughtful gift I agree that presenting her with it after Christmas will be a lovely start for the New Year.
Lily Hope you might get out for a walk today while the sun is shinning, wrap up warm,
    Enjoy your day all.

    Hi Biglad, Rosie and Chive.
Neck still aches a bit, seems to stiffen up again during the night, eases off during the day and then aches more as the evening goes on. I'm using a microwave heat thingy Rosie, does ease it for awhile. Taking paracetamol too.
I'm hoping it goes soon as I have a hair appointment Thursday and it's going to hurt when they wash my hair 😫 Its worrying me now as it's been like it for a few days.
  • Good Morning Rosie Sorry I missed your post before. A quiet Christmas will be a common theme for us all this year, at least we can gather together on here without those restrictions 🤗
hope you have a nice pottering day.
  • Lily Sorry to hear your neck pain is lingering, might be worth getting some medical advice? a hair wash at the hairdressers can be rough at the best of times! Or that might just be my experience 🥴
  • Thank you Hazel, no I haven't. But that's a good idea. Will give it a try.
Hazel, that's a  good point about the album. We are all different.  A special rose or shrub for the garden is lovely too. I have a rose bush  each for my mum and dad.
Hope the shops aren't too busy when you go out today.

Hazel thanks so much for your input. My sister has a photo of Mom in pride of place on the mantelpiece so although I know she will cry I think it will be something she would love, Mom was so very poorly for so very long that it’s easy to forget the beautiful vibrant woman she was. I hope these photos will remind my sister of that. I am not at all offended, I appreciate you sharing your feelings. Thank you

Afties all. Shopping mission accomplished and another pleasant, no hassle experience. Just a little heads up for you all, stamps are going up in price next January 1st so if you use a lot of them, it might be worthwhile stocking up now. Sorry to hear the neck is still being a nuisance SGL.

  • Thank you for the heads up re stamps, LB.  Usually have a few books of stamps, but running low because of Christmas. Don't use 1st class very often now, but always have some just in case.
Glad shopping trip went well Hazel.

Hazel grief hits us all differently. Fiancé lost his Dad earlier this year and when I suggested having photos framed of them together he flatly refused. I know he cannot look at the photos his Mom has on display. He is a very strong person as I am sure you are but we all cope in our own way. Nobody should judge how others deal with bereavement.

    Good evening.
I finally have some free time for tea and to say hello.

LB, I didn't stuck on the tree😂, and all my lights are installed. They look wonderful and I'll take photo tomorrow.

Weather is finally pleasant and according to forecast, we will have few calm and sunny days. Again online classes here, so job is doubled. I neglected my baking, so must put some extra effort before Christmas.

Have are you all? Must read carefully few pages back.
