Hello there SGL. You weren't there when I was typing my post. I've had my hair coloured today and I could feel my back aching. Nothing serious though and I feel much better now.

  • Hi LB, hope you're back isn't too painful. Think leaning backwards in sink didn't help my neck today. But its seems a bit better again this afternoon.
I feel exactly the same LB,  can't get motivated about much at the moment. It's a bit .....I'll do it tomorrow feeling at the mo.😉🤣

LB - I know exactly what you mean about lacking motivation at the moment. I'm waking and getting up later and later and lighting the fire earlier and earlier - only seem to have about 5 hours for actual 'doing' - such a waste. Have to give myself a good shake on days when I really do need to get on with stuff.

Rubee - have never known a cat who didn't love a box - the smaller and tighter the better😸 (same probably goes for grandchildren Yvie!)

Rosie - well done getting all your presents wrapped. I still have to wrap OH's but they're relatively easy. I save boxes through the year so that any odd shaped things can just go in a nice rectangular box. Usually go for sizes and shapes that bear no resemblance to the gift so there's an element of surprise even though he knows nearly everything he's getting. I hope he's going out tomorrow or Saturday so I can get them done while watching The Holly & The Ivy (my own Christmas tradition).

I should really have a look at our accounts next but guess what? - really cannot face it just now. It's dark & cold and it feels like time to light the fire😬

Your post made me titter LB.  Good to 'see' you Topbird.  I've been wrapping pressies this afternoon.  Have loads of kiddy wrap but I've run out of wrap suitable for adults.  Don't go into shops anymore and it's a bit tricky to find any I like on line.  Hubby and SIL might be getting their pressies wrapped in Peter Rabbit Christmas paper.

Good morning all. Wet and windy here. Got fiancé home as today would have been his dad’s birthday so he is spending time with his mom. His place if work is still tier 2 so he is working Christmas Day. At least we know now and can sort final plans. My brother in law won’t be working which is a weight off my mind as I was worried about my sister but now I can relax a bit. Hope everyone has a good day planned.
