Morning everyone. Today has been a day for flopping around to get my energy back after yesterday’s excitement. 😁.

Overcast but dry with some rain promised in the coming week, yeah, I’ll believe that when I see it. 😡

We are having leftovers tonight. Garlic prawns. Hubby always makes too much, but hey, it’s our regular Christmas dinner, so why not enjoy it while it’s there.

Morning @Pat E and @Dovefromabove happy Boxing Day, I would love a coffee before I pop in the shower. Looks like a lovely sunny day today.
  • Morning @Dovefromabove and @Pat E

    Yes please to coffee. :)

Lovely day yesterday, all presents were a success, as was dinner and then a relaxing night in front of the TV (not often done on my part), perfect Christmas. I am now the proud new owner of a quality trowel and Charlie & I have matching kneeling pads for weeding. :)

Not sure about today, odd not to have a huge list of jobs to do. Putting leftovers together for dinner wont even take much effort.

Nice to see some old faces on here too,  but I was sorry to hear @Hostafan1 bad news.:( All I can do is send love and hugs.   :'(

Good day to all whatever you may be doing.

Hi Floralies and DD. We are now in front of TV. Watching some Canadian food factory stuff. It’s interesting.

We just had a hard rain shower pass by.  It pushed right across the Veranda, not complaining though.
    Havea good one everybody.

  • Hello everyone,  strange quiet day yesterday,  normally it's manic. In spite of having so little to do we didn't sit down to lunch till nearly 3. The Pheasant was great but there was much more of it than we expected,  so I didn't have anything else all day.  Zoom call with the family in the eve was good.
Sorry to hear of others troubles.
Seems we are heading for a bad storm tonight,  stay safe everyone.

    Morning all,  afternoon @Pat E
Yes please @Dovefromabove I've had 1 coffee but a second is certainly needed!
Sounds like a lovely day @D0rdogne_Damsel!
Lovely day here,  food a great success 😀  very relaxed day except for the chef....me.
    Very little on today.
I have to confess to having moved the cat that has lived in our shed for a year,  into the house at the beginning of the week. I still miss my boy Flatters McCatters but its part of a cycle of life in our garden,  shedcat gets an upgrade when we lose one of our friends.  I've been feeding her twice a day in the shed for the last year and treated her for fleas and she had a warm bed in there, but she's over the moon to have a proper home.
  • Just back from a brisk walk with OH ... not a gardening time of year for me so
i must walk further than from the kitchen to the sofa while we’re locked down. I’m not good at making myself exercise for exercise’s sake ... I like to be doing something, so while OH is on furlough he’s going to walk with me as well as do his cycle ‘thrash’ around the village each morning.
@Pat E here in the UK we’re hunkering down and waiting for Storm Bella ... apparently it’s going to do some damage so keep your heads down folks.
My thoughts are with the poor folk who are flooded in Bedfordshire at the moment ... my family come from there and I lived there as a small child. It sounds a grim Christmas there. 😢
Ive had some lovely presents ... three huge very special amaryllis from @WonkyWomble ... she’s very cleverly potted them and brought them on so that they’re staggered and will bloom in succession ... one is nearly open 😃
I’ve also been given an absolutely gorgeous pure wool blanket scarf/wrap by the British Blanket Co in Bristol ... it’s the most fabulous thing ... beautiful colours
    Is that not gorgeous?!?!?!
